ShyBot

Shybot was a project and a research for my plastic course at Design Academy Eindhoven which I focused my researches on analyzing the techniques of vacuum forming for making kit runners. my aim was to design a kit model of a posable robot action figure by using just 2 affordable poly styrene runner. so affordable, fun to make, fun to pose and customizable.

all the steps are done by using balsa wood for the base of each individual part, vacuum forming these parts to reach the final polystyrene parts that are close to what will be when the parts are cut out of the runners (well if its not clear just take a look at the pictures ;)).
